• Payment Information: When you subscribe, our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) collects your payment details. We do not directly store your full credit card number.
• Your Content: We process the documents you upload solely to provide the AI Analysis.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous, aggregated data about how you interact with our Service (e.g., features used, time spent) to help us improve our product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage your account.
• To communicate with you about service updates, offers, and support requests.
• Crucially: We will NEVER use Your Content (your uploaded documents) to train our or any third-party's AI models.

3. Our "Zero-Data-Transmission" Security Model

FirstPass Tax is built on a hybrid security model to maximize your privacy:

• In-Browser Analysis: For many preliminary checks, our AI runs directly in your web browser. For these functions, your document data NEVER leaves your computer and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Secure Cloud Analysis: For more complex analysis, your data is sent over an encrypted (SSL/TLS) connection to our secure, private cloud environment. This environment is isolated, and data is programmatically deleted immediately after processing is complete.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including end-to-end encryption, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure from leading providers (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our Service, such as payment processors and cloud hosting providers, under strict confidentiality agreements. All agreements are made under the legal entity Internet Management Services Inc.
